Custom live edge serving board / cheese board / charcuterie board/ serving board. Our boards are very attractive and easy to use. Crafted from hand selected live edge hardwood to create a book-matched board with natural edge. The natural edge of the wood and the unique pattern of the wood grain creates a stunning symmetric board. This makes every board unique and one of a kind, no two boards will ever be the same.
Wakay aspire to capture the natural beauty of nature found in trees and rivers, and showcase their hidden beauty and eminent potential. Our passion in woodworking, in our customers and their ideas has led us in crafting one of a kind piece that will surely bring the beauty and touch of natural luxury in their homes and will last for generations. We uses both native and exotic New Zealand timber, combining the best quality with sustainability. Our woods from local sawmillers, recycled timber from demolition, and locally felled trees. In this way, we use only the best quality of woods and recycle wherever possible. We will, however, occasionally use imported timber to meet the needs of a particular project.
We enable our clients to take part from material selection process to give them options until we find the perfect wood to match their ideas and constantly update them during the building process. Upon completion, we review the custom work/project along with the client before delivery or shipping.
Each board design is based on the live edge of the wood, the color and the grain pattern.
